8th Grade ELAR

This year during 8th grade we will be reading stories and discussing how they relate to us. Each unit is based on a different theme that is geared towards 8th grade. We will be focusing on building vocabulary as well as increasing comprehension skills through group work as well as independent work. I do not assign homework except reading each night. 

 

I hope to prepare the students for high school by helping them set goals and holding them accountable for their learning.
