Superintendent's Message

In April 2023, Dr. Justin Turner was elected unanimously by the Board of Trustees as the superintendent of the Hubbard Independent School District.

Dr. Turner was most recently the high school principal in Caldwell ISD. Dr. Turner's 19-year career in public education began as a junior high teacher and coach, followed by positions as an elementary assistant principal, high school assistant principal, and middle school principal. 

Dr. Turner holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, a master's degree in education, and a doctorate degree in educational leadership, all from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He and his wife Cecilia, have three daughters; Emma, Ana Sofia, and Lucia.
