Mike Saucke Bio

I was born and raised in Colorado, mainly the small mountain town of Salida (The Heart of the Rockies).  After graduating from Salida High School in 1982, I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in HPER from The University of Northern Colorado.  My first teaching job was the following fall in Salt Lake City Utah.  I only stayed for one school year and finally made it to Texas.  I am starting my 36th year of teaching and coaching.  Baylor University awarded me a Master's of Science in HHP in 1990.

I have always been able to pass along information in ways that reach a variety of individuals.  This is my main reason for "getting into" education.  I put that in quotation marks because becoming a teacher is actually a calling.  It is an honor and a privilege to serve the great community of Hubbard.  There is no other place that I would care to be at this time.  I look forward to assisting the students and athletes that choose to call Hubbard home.
