I am so excited to be serving another year as Hubbard Elementary principal. As a graduate of Hubbard High School and a life-long resident of Hubbard, this school is my heart. It is my desire to see our school and community continue to grow and improve so that we can become an even brighter star and the best small town in Texas! We must all work together for the success of our students. My door is always open, so please let me know if I can assist you in any way. Together we can impact the future!

Happy Presidents’ Day
As is the tradition at Hubbard Elementary, Ms. Riddle’s students were dressed like the presidents and first ladies today and shared some of their research with us. This is always one of the favorite projects for our students. I appreciate all their hard work and all that Ms. Riddle does to teach our students to be proud Americans.
Spring Group & Individual Pictures
Last week you received the picture brochure for our class group and spring individual pictures. Remember that pictures will be taken next Monday, February 26 first thing in the morning. You may order by returning the form with the correct amount due or online at mylifetouch.com.
If you just would like to purchase the class group picture that is packet O under Add-Ons. The cost of the group is $12.00. We will be taking groups by grade level, not be section so all of your child’s classmates will be photographed together.
For the individual, students will be standing and holding a chalkboard and you may choose from a variety of backgrounds that will be digitally added before printing. The students will be writing their name on the chalkboard they are holding. If you do not want your child to hold the chalkboard you must check the box in the gray highlighted area on the order form that says “I would prefer my child to be photographed without a chalkboard.”
It is important that every child return the packet no later than 8:00 am on Monday, even if you are not purchasing any pictures. The photographer needs to know if whether to use the chalkboard or not and if an order has or has not been placed on-line. Your cooperation with this will help picture day run smooth.
We will begin taking pictures with Kindergarten at 8:00. Students should dress appropriately and wear their best smile!
